Job Title: Platform Developer, AVP

Location: Pune, India

Role Description

The AVP, Innovation Product Management, will be an expert in solution design and a key leader for the bank's central innovation platform. This role requires an individual with deep expertise in translating complex business needs into intuitive and effective digital workflows and forms. You will be responsible for managing senior stakeholder relationships, overseeing vendor performance, and driving the strategic evolution of the platform's capabilities.

Your key responsibilities

1. Expert-Level Requirement Gathering & Solution Design:

• Proven ability to lead workshops with senior business stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document complex requirements for digital forms and workflows.
• Demonstrated experience in translating high-level business needs into detailed functional specifications and process maps.

2. Advanced Workflow & Form Building Expertise:

• Extensive, hands-on experience designing and building sophisticated, multi-stage workflows and dynamic forms within an enterprise environment.
• Crucial:Prior experience developing applications, complex forms, and business logic using low-code/no-code tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, Itonics, or similar) is strongly preferred.

3. Deep Understanding of UI/UX:

• A very good knowledge of UI/UX principles, demonstrated by a track record of creating user-centric, intuitive, and highly adoptable digital solutions.
• Ability to guide design decisions and champion best practices to ensure an excellent end-user experience.

4. Senior Stakeholder Management:

• Proven experience acting as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leaders.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate a product vision, negotiate priorities, and provide clear status updates to a diverse audience.

5. Product & Team Leadership:

• Experience in defining a product roadmap and overseeing the entire product lifecycle.
• Ability to mentor junior team members (e.g., an Associate) on best practices for form building and workflow design.
• Knowledge of data modelling, data architecture, and data visualization strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of governance and control functions within a banking or regulated environment.

Your skills and experience

• Expertise in leading requirement gathering, solution design, and translating complex business needs into functional specifications.
• Extensive hands-on experience in designing and building enterprise-grade digital workflows and dynamic forms using low-code/no-code platforms, specificallyMicrosoft Power Platform, Appian, or similar tools.
• Deep understanding and practical application of UI/UX principles to deliver user-centric and highly adoptable solutions.
• Proven ability in senior stakeholder management, acting as a trusted advisor and effectively communicating product vision and updates.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic vendor management, including contract negotiations, pricing models, and issue resolution.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, data architecture, and data visualization strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of governance and control functions within a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications & Certifications

• Education:A bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is standard.
• Experience:Significant experience in digital product management, project management, or a senior business analyst role (typically 10+ years of relevant IT and BPM experience).
• Certifications:Certifications inMicrosoft Power Platformor similar low-code/no-code platforms are highly preferred.
• Prior experience with the ITONICS platform is a plus.
