Vialto Partners is a leading provider of global mobility solutions, supporting organizations and their employees around the world with tax, immigration, and mobility advisory services. We combine deep domain expertise with modern technology to deliver seamless global mobility experiences. We are building the next generation of our digital ecosystem, an AI-first enterprise-scale platform that powers our suite of B2B and B2C products, enhances client service delivery, and supports innovation across the organization.

We are looking for a Platform Architect for our production team. The role involves:

Platform Architecture & Strategy

  • Lead the architectural design of Vialto's unified enterprise product platform supporting multiple product lines (B2B and B2C).
  • Define platform capabilities, service boundaries, and technical patterns and principles.
  • Develop frameworks and reusable components to accelerate product development across teams.
  • Establish architectural standards for microservices, API design, event-driven communication, workflow orchestration, and data integration.

Transformation & Migration

  • Assess existing tools, systems, and products to define a migration roadmap into the enterprise platform.
  • Identify opportunities to modernize legacy components, consolidate redundant functionality, and align services to the new platform vision.
  • Partner with engineering teams to guide phased migration, ensuring minimal disruption and technical consistency.

Cloud & Technical Architecture

  • Architect scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions in Microsoft Azure using services such as:
  • Azure API Management
  • App Services / Functions
  • Event Grid / Service Bus
  • Azure SQL MI / Cosmos DB
  • AKS (preferred)
  • Azure DevOps / GitHub
  • Drive adoption of best practices in microservices, distributed systems, observability, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Establish standards for performance, resiliency, multi-tenancy, and security posture.

AI, Automation & Experience Layer

  • Partner with teams to define platform-level capabilities using:
  • Azure OpenAI
  • Agentic AI with Microsoft Agent Framework
  • Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • AI-augmented capabilities for enabling product team to build features for client-facing and operational tools
  • Collaborate on the architecture of user experience layers built in Next.js and React.
  • Enable intelligent services and automation to enhance global mobility operations and client outcomes.

Patterns We Expect You to Use

  • Event-based systems (pub/sub, workflow orchestration, event sourcing where appropriate)
  • Distributed systems (partitioning, resiliency, failure-mode design, consistency tradeoffs)
  • Domain-driven integration approaches (bounded contexts, contracts, anti-corruption layers)
  • Agentic AI patterns including plan/execute/verify loops, tool/function calling, RAG, verifier/critic steps, guardrails, evaluation, and agent observability/auditability. Experience applying these patterns to automate business process flows using Azure OpenAI APIs and orchestration frameworks.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Act as a trusted architectural advisor to product engineering teams and business stakeholders.
  • Advocate for platform thinking, technical quality, and long-term sustainability.
  • Conduct architectural reviews, provide guidance, and mentor engineers across teams.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years of experience designing and delivering cloud-based enterprise systems.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, microservices architecture, distributed systems, and DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency with C# / .NET Core, API development, and cloud-native patterns.
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, and front-end platform integration concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience designing platform architectures that support multiple products.
  • Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, conversational agents, or generative AI integration.
  • Strong grounding in integration patterns, and system interoperability.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred

  • Prior work in B2B and B2C product ecosystems or professional services platforms.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and regulatory constraints for global services.
  • Background in enterprise transformation or modernization programs.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field preferred
