Plastics Vendor Upgradation

JOB ROLE:

Guiding Plastic vendors for improvement in Quality Systems, Manufacturing Process, Shop Floor improvements and P-D-C-A approach for overall improvement of vendor quality performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Guidance to Vendors in The Following Areas:

- Quality System Improvement

- Manpower Training and Skill Upgradation

- Root Cause Analysis of Quality Defects

- Countermeasure Action Implementation

- Process specific improvements for automotive plastic parts.

- Process/ system upgradation based on AI/ digital tools & techniques.

2. Discussions & Review Meetings with Vendor Top Management

3. Implementing and guiding Plastic and Rubber Tool Maintenance best practices at Automotive component suppliers.

COMPETENCY REQUIRED:

1. Hands on Experience in any Automotive OEM / Plastic Automotive component industry in the area of plant layout understanding, process improvement / Supplier quality management.

2. Should be conversant with best practices of plastic and rubber parts manufacturing, development, storage, quality defect analysis, 5 why analysis, understanding of Engg drawing, Mould flow analysis.

3. Conversant with data analysis and representation in MS Excel, MS Power-point, Power BI.

EXPERTISE FOR FUNCTIONAL AREA:

Experience in Supplier Management / Process improvement in Plastic and Rubber industry.

Must Have:

Know-how of Plastic Process (Injection Molding, Blow moulding)

Mold Maintenance and Development

Presentation Prep and Communication

Power BI
