Create 3D models, engineering drawings, and specifications
Perform tolerance analysis, DFMEA, and design reviews
Experience of DFM & DFA for the parts developed.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, testing, and quality
Conduct feasibility studies and propose design improvements
Ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards
Support prototype build, testing, and validation activities
Troubleshoot engineering issues and provide effective solutions
Required Skills:
Should have worked on Concept and Detail design having knowledge of Plastic/ Sheet metal parts
Should have good knowledge of Consumer Products/Automotive / Medical products
DFMEA skills
Well versed with Tolerance Analysis
Good knowledge of GD & T.
Closely work with Lead Engineer, developing the System requirements into proven functions with the right quality with in minimum time and with cost-effective solutions.
Known for quality excellence and as per design standard
Ability to assemble parts to ensure the finished product is in processes right product
Desired Skills:
CAD tool: Unigraphics NX and Creo
Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS)
PLM software: Wind-chill
Experience/Knowledge on Mould/Tool design will be an added advantage
