Plant Tissue Culturist

Job Title: Botanist / Plant tissue culturist (Full-time, On-site)

Candidate Location : South India - Strongly Preferred

Compensation: per expirience - after careful evaluation. Looking for Freshers aswell.

About Us:

Forest Studio Labs of Phyto Evolution Private Limited is a plant biotechnology startup working on tissue culture hardwares, chemicals and services, conservation, and revival of rare and endangered plant species. We manage specialized greenhouses and plantations that need dedicated care and attention.

Role Overview:

We are looking for 2 more committed team members to join us in managing and executing our lab activities, greenhouses and plantations.

This role is open to:

• Botany / Life Science graduates who want to gain hands-on experience in plant biotechnology and tissue culture.
• Local plant enthusiasts (with or without formal education) who are passionate about working with plants and can commit to on-site daily work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Care for greenhouse and plantation plants: watering, nutrient management, pest/disease monitoring.
• Maintain growth records and daily reports.
• Assist in propagation and plant health management.
• (Preferred) Support basic tissue culture activities in the lab.
• Ensure greenhouse upkeep and cleanliness.

Requirements:

• Background in Botany, Plant Science, Horticulture or practical experience/interest in plant care.
• Passionate about plants, reliable, and willing to learn.
• On-site presence required every day.
• Tissue culture or greenhouse experience is a plus, but training can be provided.
