Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Plant Supervisor role based in Delhi, India. The Plant Supervisor will oversee daily plant operations, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards for automotive interior products. Responsibilities include managing production schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, monitoring equipment performance, and supporting plant maintenance activities. The role also involves leading and coaching plant staff, organizing on-the-job training, enforcing safety and hygiene protocols, and maintaining accurate production and maintenance records. The Plant Supervisor will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identify process bottlenecks, and support implementation of preventive maintenance and operational best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
- Hands-on experience with Plant Operations, including production planning, process oversight, and quality control.
- Knowledge of Plant Maintenance practices, with the ability to coordinate and support Preventive Maintenance activities.
- Experience in Training plant staff on standard operating procedures, safety practices, and quality requirements.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related engineering field preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive manufacturing or components production is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of safety regulations, 5S, and basic lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under time and production pressure.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and management.
