Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Plant Supervisor role based in Ahmedabad. The Plant Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day plant operations, ensuring high productivity, strict adherence to safety protocols, and consistent quality standards. The role involves managing production processes, supervising workforce performance, and optimizing the use of machines, materials, and inventory.

In addition, the Plant Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining quality control, supporting product innovation, and contributing to recipe development and R&D initiatives. The position requires continuous monitoring of equipment and operational processes to ensure efficient plant performance and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee day-to-day plant operations, including production, manpower, machinery, and inventory

* Ensure smooth production planning and execution

* Monitor machine performance and coordinate basic maintenance

* Maintain accurate production reports and documentation

* Manage raw material and finished goods inventory

* Take ownership of Quality Control (QC):

  * Conduct routine quality checks for raw materials and finished products

  * Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and product standards

  * Maintain hygiene and food safety protocols

* Work closely on R&D and new recipe development

* Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, and safety standards

* Lead and manage shop-floor teams effectively

Requirements

* Experience in plant/production supervision (FMCG/food industry preferred)

* Understanding of QC processes and quality standards (food manufacturing preferred)

* Good knowledge of machines and production processes

* Comfortable with reports, tracking, and documentation

* Strong people management skills

* Interest or experience in R&D / product development

* Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
