Plant supervisor (Day/Night)

Mantras2success Consultants is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Plant Supervisor for a manufacturing facility in Changodar. This role involves overseeing and managing daily store operations, production activities, facility maintenance, and team supervision for either day or night shifts. You will actively coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations, efficient inventory control, and strict compliance with safety and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Store Management (FG/RM/Packing): Oversee the complete process of unloading, rejection handling, storage, and inventory control for finished goods (FG), raw materials (RM), and packing materials.
• Security & Access Control: Coordinate closely with security personnel to manage the movement of people and materials in and out of the premises, ensuring controlled access.
• Facility & Compound Maintenance: Ensure the proper upkeep and maintenance of the office space, compound areas, and general infrastructure of the plant.
• Production Monitoring: Achieve and meticulously monitor monthly production targets. Maintain all relevant log sheets accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Resource Optimization: Implement measures to ensure zero leakage or wastage of critical resources such as water, mother liquor, gas, and electricity.
• Plant Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and orderliness across the entire plant premises.
• Team Management: Recruit, lead, and supervise two teams of five members each, ensuring optimal productivity and strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Required Skills

• Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and email communication.
• Quality Management: Possess a working knowledge of ISO 9000 documentation and compliance.
• Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong coordination and organizational skills.
• Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of plant utilities and operational processes.
