About The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and technically strong
Plant & Procurement Head to lead end-to-end plant operations along with procurement strategy for a well-established manufacturing organization in the metal and automotive sector.
This is a leadership role ideal for professionals who can seamlessly manage production excellence, process optimization, and strategic sourcing while driving profitability and operational efficiency.
If you have strong expertise in plastics manufacturing, injection molding, and supply chain management and are confident handling both plant operations and procurement this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Plant Operations Leadership
- Lead Injection Molding, Polymer Processing, Pad Printing, and Assembly operations.
- Ensure optimal control of molding parameters, tooling systems, polymer behavior, and ink systems.
- Drive process standardization, eliminate variations, and build a preventive maintenance culture.
- Maintain high productivity, quality standards, and operational discipline.
Procurement & Supply Chain Management
- Oversee strategic sourcing, vendor development, and negotiation.
- Manage material planning, logistics, and backward integration initiatives.
- Implement cost reduction strategies and value engineering initiatives.
- Ensure strong budgeting, cost control, and margin improvement.
Financial & Commercial Contribution
- Monitor plant profitability and cost efficiency.
- Support sales teams with techno-commercial inputs.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Leadership & Execution
- Lead cross-functional teams with strong problem-solving and crisis management capabilities.
- Maintain execution discipline and ensure timely delivery of business objectives.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong technical expertise in Injection Molding, Polymer Processing, Pad Printing, and Assembly Operations
- Sound knowledge of plastics engineering, tooling systems, and ink technologies
- Experience in procurement strategy, vendor management, and supply chain operations
- Strong understanding of logistics, material planning, and cost optimization
- Budgeting, financial control, and profitability management skills
- Quality-focused mindset with strong root cause analysis ability
- Strong negotiation and techno-commercial orientation
- Ability to manage both plant operations and procurement functions effectively
- Hindi speaking capability (mandatory)
Preferred Background
- Experience in automotive component or plastic manufacturing environments will be highly valued.
