Job Description

Role:

To manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient production as per ISO standards. The role involves maintaining operational discipline, enforcing SOPs, ensuring staff accountability, and overseeing plant maintenance, safety, and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plant Operations & Production Control

  • Supervise all daily plant activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Implement and monitor production schedules to meet output targets and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, QMS, and internal SOP guidelines for every process.
  • Coordinate with the QA/QC team to maintain product quality and traceability.

2. Staff Management & Supervision

  • Ensure all staff perform their designated duties responsibly and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular briefings, allocate work, and ensure shift discipline.
  • Monitor attendance, performance, and training needs of operators and supervisors.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety awareness.

3. Maintenance & Housekeeping

  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of all machinery and equipment.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely servicing to avoid breakdowns.
  • Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and proper housekeeping across the entire plant area.
  • Maintain checklists and logs for daily cleaning and maintenance activities.

4. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and PPE usage.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and emergency preparedness drills.
  • Report and address any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain daily production and maintenance logs, shift reports, and manpower deployment records.
  • Ensure documentation compliance with ISO standards.
  • Submit regular reports on production performance, downtime, and corrective actions to management.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 610 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in FRP/Composites or related industries.
  • Sound knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, lean manufacturing, and preventive maintenance.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and ensure operational discipline.

Employment Stability

  • Last 2 organizations tenure must be minimum 2 years each
  • No frequent job hopping

Post-Confirmation

  • CTC: 10,00,000 per annum (Fixed)

Joining Bonus

  • 1,00,000 on completion of 6 months from Date of Joining
  • 1,00,000 on completion of 1 year of continuous service
