Description
We are seeking a skilled Plant Mechanical Foreman for our Waste Water Treatment facility in OMAN.. The successful candidate will oversee mechanical maintenance operations, ensuring efficient functioning of all mechanical systems while adhering to safety protocols and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems in the wastewater treatment plant.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all mechanical operations.
- Lead a team of technicians and operators, providing guidance and training as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical equipment to identify issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize operations and improve efficiency in the plant.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
Skills and Qualifications
- 6-9 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in wastewater treatment or similar industrial settings.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including pumps, valves, and motors used in wastewater treatment.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in industrial environments.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians and operators.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with different departments.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques and practices.
- Technical certification in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
