PLANT MECHANIC

Qualifications: • High School Diploma or Technical/Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. 

Experience: • 0–2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or industrial operations. • Fresh graduates with technical training are acceptable.

 • Skills: Technical Skills: • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and industrial equipment. • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments. • Understanding of preventive maintenance procedures. • Ability to read simple technical drawings and work instructions. Behavioral Competencies: • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills. • Good teamwork and communication skills. • Attention to detail and commitment to safety. • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision. • Reliability and positive work attitude. Systems / Digital Skills: • Basic knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). • Ability to complete maintenance records and reports. • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Key accountabilities: • Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities. • Support troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment. • Perform basic mechanical tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and component replacement. • Assist in equipment inspection and identify potential issues. • Use hand tools and power tools safely during maintenance work. • Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards. • Maintain accurate maintenance records and report work progress.
