Plant Manager – Plastic / Packaging Industry

Plant Operations & Production

• Oversee daily plant operations including production, maintenance, and quality.
• Ensure achievement of production and dispatch targets as per monthly and annual plans.
• Conduct daily analysis of production output, downtime, and power consumption.
• Optimize throughput and reduce deviations through corrective action plans.
• Monitor temperature, pressure, and other critical process parameters.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Maintenance & Technical Management

• Supervise plant installations, commissioning, inspections, and functional testing.
• Lead breakdown analysis and troubleshooting of process-related equipment.
• Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance systems are implemented.
• Coordinate procurement of spares, laboratory equipment, and critical consumables.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to ISO, TQM, OSHA, EMP, EIA, and EHS standards.
• Monitor quality control objectives and maintain compliance with applicable standards.
• Lead audits and ensure documentation and reporting compliance.

Planning & Cost Control

• Prepare weekly and monthly production plans aligned with budget and raw material planning.
• Optimize manpower utilization and resource deployment.
• Monitor costing exercises and downtime analysis (DTA).
• Work on SAP PP module / ERP systems for production planning and reporting.
