At Lenzing Plastics, you will play a key role in driving our global growth strategy and building a high-performance manufacturing footprint across international markets. As a leading supplier of smart, high-performance laminates as well as material-efficient films, tapes, and filaments, we deliver solutions for demanding applications where performance, reliability, and innovation matter most. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a new strategic production site in Mundra, Gujarat (India). In this role, you will take full ownership of plant performance, operations, and team development – driving scale, efficiency, and long-term competitiveness.
What You'll Do
- Lead and drive plant operations
- Drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance
- Scale production and implement best-in-class processes
- Own and drive plant performance (KPIs, output, efficiency) and delivery targets
- Develop and lead high-performing teams
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Own and manage budgets and resource allocation
What You Bring
- Strong plant/operations leadership experience
- Technical background (plastics/extrusion technology strongly preferred)
- Hands-on, execution-driven leadership style
- Track record in improving plant performance
- Strong KPI and efficiency mindset
- Fluent English required; German advantageous
- Strong communication skills in an international environment
- Proven experience in leading teams in emerging markets (India/Asia preferred)
- Engineering degree
