Description
We are seeking a dedicated Plant Incharge to oversee our production facility in India. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day operations, ensuring the plant runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the plant to ensure efficient production processes.
- Manage a team of operators and technicians, providing guidance and support.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs for machinery and equipment.
- Assist in the development and execution of production plans and strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- He will be mainly handling plant, Target production. Desired product quality (CAC, MCAA, DCAC, etc.)
- Safe handling of chlorine and hazardous chemicals. He will be the first person responsible if chlorine leaks. Must take quick decisions during reaction upset
- Need strong coordination with: QC, Maintenance and Safety team
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in plant operations or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control standards.
- A good knowledge for a chlorination plant (CAC / MCAA / DCAC / TCAC type), the required skills are a mix of process knowledge, safety handling, and practical plant control. Here's a clear, industry-relevant breakdown. Batch Record and maintain log sheet.
- Understanding of: Chlorination reactions (Cl₂ handling, substitution reactions)
- Formation of: CAC, DCAC, MCAA, TCAA Control of: Temperature HH, Pressure and Chlorine dosing rate
- Knowledge of: Over-chlorination & side reactions.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the manufacturing industry.
