Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Plant Head to lead our transformer manufacturing plant. The role involves overseeing production, ensuring quality standards, managing resources, implementing safety protocols, and driving operational excellence in all aspects of transformer manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily production operations of transformers (power, distribution, or specialized types).
Ensure adherence to quality standards (IS, IEC, ISO) and client specifications.
Monitor production KPIs, cost efficiency, and timelines.
Lead, mentor, and manage plant staff, including engineers, technicians, and operators.
Implement and maintain safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance protocols.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) for efficiency and reliability.
Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and logistics teams for smooth operations.
Qualifications Skills
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical/Production Engineering; MBA is a plus.
10+ years in transformer or electrical manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of transformer design, production processes, and testing.
Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
