Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Plant Head located in Chennai. The Plant Head will oversee plant operations, ensure efficient production processes, manage production planning, uphold quality control standards, and oversee budgeting to meet organizational objectives. The role involves managing teams, ensuring compliance with safety and operational policies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Plant Operations and Production Management to ensure smooth and efficient plant activities
- Proficiency in Production Planning and Budgeting to effectively allocate resources and manage costs
- In-depth knowledge of Quality Control practices to maintain high standards in all products and processes
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead teams, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Relevant advanced certifications are a plus
