Sankalp Healthcare is seeking an experiencedPlant / Factory Headto lead end-to-end pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The role carries complete responsibility for production execution, compliance, manpower, and operational efficiency, ensuring high-quality output in line with cGMP and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing & Operations
- Overall control of day-to-day plant operations and production planning
- Ensure timely execution of production schedules with optimal utilization of men, machines, and materials
- Drive productivity, yield improvement, and cost control initiatives
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure full compliance with cGMP, statutory, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain strict documentation discipline across production and QA interfaces
- Prepare the plant for internal, customer, and regulatory audits
- Coordinate closely with QA/QC for deviation handling, CAPA, and change control
People & Administration
- Manage and lead plant manpower including operators, supervisors, and support staff
- Maintain shop-floor discipline, training, and safety practices
- Workforce planning, shift management, and performance monitoring
Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with QA, QC, Maintenance, Purchase, and Dispatch teams
- Ensure preventive maintenance and minimal breakdowns
- Report operational performance, risks, and improvements to management
Candidate Profile
Mandatory Requirements
- Proven experience inpharmaceutical manufacturing(tablets, capsules, and/or external preparations)
- Strong hands-on exposure to plant operations and shop-floor execution
- Sound knowledge of cGMP, documentation, and audit handling
- Experience leading teams and managing manufacturing facilities
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in WHO-GMPoriented plants or export-focused manufacturing
- Practical, execution-driven mindset (not purely desk-based)
- Strong ownership, accountability, and problem-solving ability
Qualification
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc or equivalent (relevant experience preferred over paper qualification)
