Location - Kheda, Gujrat
Industry - pharmaceutical packaging companies. Open to candidates from rubber manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries.

Position Overview
The Plant Head will provide overall leadership for manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production of high-quality rubber pharmaceutical packaging products while maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Leadership: Direct all plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, and safety functions
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement plant strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans
- Production Management: Ensure optimal production efficiency, quality standards, and on-time delivery to customers
- Quality Assurance: Maintain GMP compliance and ensure products meet pharmaceutical industry standards
- Safety Management: Implement and monitor safety protocols, conduct safety training, and maintain zero-accident workplace
- Cost Management: Optimize manufacturing costs while maintaining quality and delivery standards
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop plant management team and workforce across all functions
- Continuous Improvement: Drive lean manufacturing initiatives, 5S implementation, and operational excellence programs
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with FDA, environmental, and local regulatory requirements
- Capital Projects: Oversee plant expansion, equipment installation, and infrastructure development projects
- Stakeholder Management: Interface with corporate management, customers, and regulatory authorities
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor KPIs for safety, quality, productivity, and cost
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial) or related field; MBA preferred
- 15-20 years of manufacturing experience with 8+ years in senior leadership roles
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, rubber processing, or related regulated industries
- Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Proven track record in operational excellence, cost management, and team leadership
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong financial acumen and P&L management experience
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical packaging or medical device manufacturing
- Knowledge of rubber processing and molding operations
- Experience with FDA inspections and regulatory audits
- Certification in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma
