The SCC (Supply Chain Centre) head role in Mohali at JFL is a strategic role that encompasses elements of Operational efficiencies, Delivery to Customer, Safety, Quality and People Leadership wherein site is presently serving the size of 270+ stores contributing 50Cr+ monthly sales by producing average 30L+ units on monthly basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Human Safety & Food Safety:
- Ensure Human Safety with zero Lost Time Incidents (LTI) and proactively report Unsafe Conditions/Acts (UC/UA) and near misses.
- Drive zero food safety complaints and ensure the production of defect-free products.
2. Customer Satisfaction:
- Ensure high Restaurant Survey Feedback ratings, considering aspects such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF) performance, shortage/damage resolution, GPS accuracy, tray lifting regularity and prior intimation of stockouts.
3. Quality Assurance:
- Monitor adherence to quality systems and compliance with ISO quality standards.
- Implement quality systems/procedures like Six Sigma and Lean Sigma to reduce rejections and produce zero-defect products.
4. Cost Management:
- Ensure that General and Administrative (GnA) expenses are within budget.
- Monitor and optimize the plant's costs, including write-offs, IRA loss, transporter discrepancies, insurance claims, and production rejections in monetary terms.
5. Culture and People Capability:
- Promote a positive culture focused on discipline, accountability, and learning.
- Drive employee engagement and happiness through recruitment quality, induction programs, training, mentoring, performance management, and potential mapping
6. System & Infrastructure Capability:
- Ensure the health of systems and infrastructure by meeting productivity targets for labor, electricity, trucks, and USLE (Usage of Space, Labor, and Equipment).
- Maintain high levels of SOP compliance and internal audit scores.
- Adhere to project timelines for various initiatives, including TMS (Transport Management System), PMS (Production Management System), EMS (Environmental Management System), and 6-Sigma projects.
- Maintain FSMS (Food Safety Management System) certifications (e.g., FSSC) and OHSAS certifications.
- Adhere to project timelines for Capex projects, automation, capacity expansion, and new product launches.
7. Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory requirements for the factory's operations.
- Collect feedback from business partners and internal stakeholders on operations and budget utilization.
