Qualifications
CA with 10+ years of experience in manufacturing industries at Plant Level.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead plant accounting operations managing budgeting, forecasting and long range planning processes & keep strong focus on the internal financial health.
- Adherence to the accurate tactical financial operations and accuracy & control.
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Banking: Team Lead of Accounts payable, Accounts receivable and banking.
- Receivable reconciliation and payment followup with Customer.
- Financial Reporting & analysis.
- Prepare weekly/monthly/periodic financial statements-bank & debtor positions, analyze variances (cost, margin, labour, material) and provide reports.
- Oversee the avenues of cost reduction initiatives.
- Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls, compliance and manage audits (statutory, internal).
- Management and Control of all inventories
- Month end financial closing activities.
- Fixed Asset Accounting, Reconciliation and Register control.
- Accounts & Annual Financial Statements.
- Group companies accountsand reconciliation.
- Identify inefficiencies and drive process optimization.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Ability and experience of managing a team of accountants
- High proficiency in MS Excel, SAP and other MS office tools.
- Eye for detail and thoroughness in checking the numbers and data.
- Expertise in preparing financial statements and management reports for senior management/ Board.
- Experience in dealing with regulatory authorities and auditors.
- Excellent knowledge of local taxation and regulations
