Role Description The Plant Engineer role at Modela is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The Plant Engineer will oversee day-to-day plant operations, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities include monitoring power generation systems, coordinating routine and preventive maintenance, and diagnosing and resolving technical issues and breakdowns. The role involves optimizing plant performance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining compliance with relevant standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project and production needs. The Plant Engineer will also prepare technical documentation, maintain accurate records, and provide input on upgrades and modernization of plant systems.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Plant Engineering and Plant Operations to manage systems, processes, and performance.
- Experience in Plant Maintenance, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control issues in plant equipment and systems.
- Knowledge of Power Generation systems, including operation, monitoring, and basic performance analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in industrial environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Prior experience in an industrial plant, utilities, or power generation facility is preferred.
