Designation: Plant Engineer / Asst. Manager - Plant

Location _ Nagpur / Uluberia / Haldia

Grade : IIIA

Function: Operations

Reports to: Plant Manager

1. ROLE PURPOSE

Assist in the overall operations in the plant including troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns and preventive maintenance under the supervision of the plant manager.

1. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Operational

• Achieve the targeted production, productivity, utilisation, efficiency, quality, yield, cost of production
• Co-ordinate with marketing for orders and development of new customers etc.
• Daily planning of material to be produced to adhere to the dispatch schedule
• Ensure plant maintenance and maximise availability and uptime of plant equipment
• Participate in the implementation of new initiatives

People

• Instruct and guide subordinates for better shop floor management, discipline, safety and housekeeping

Technology

• Encourage higher level of automation and IT enablement in the plant.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Mechanical

• Energetic, well organized and self-directed
• Knowledge of plant operations
