The Role

We are seeking a technically skilled Plant Chemist to oversee and support the synthesis of dyes at plant scale. This role bridges the gap between R&D and full-scale production, ensuring that dye manufacturing processes are executed with precision and consistency,

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and supervise daily dye manufacturing activities during assigned shift.
  • Ensure compliance with batch manufacturing records and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor critical process parameters (pH, temperature, reaction time, etc.) and troubleshoot deviations in real time.
  • Coordinate with quality control, maintenance, and EHS teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
  • Record and report production data, material consumption, yield, and downtime.
  • Collaborate with R&D team to receive and understand new/existing dye synthesis procedures.
  • Scale up lab, pilot-scale dye production processes to commercial scale while maintaining quality.
  • Identify potential process risks during scale-up and recommend mitigation plans.
  • Prepare and review process validation protocols and reports.
  • Conduct trial batches and ensure successful integration of new processes into routine manufacturing.
  • Maintain accurate batch records, shift reports, and technical documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits with relevant production and tech transfer documentation.
