About The Role
We are hiring a
Plant & Procurement Head to lead end-to-end
manufacturing operations, injection molding production, and strategic procurement for a fast-growing automotive and plastic components manufacturing setup in Jamnagar.
This is a
senior leadership role ideal for professionals with strong expertise in
injection molding, plastics processing, assembly operations, and pad printing, combined with proven experience in
procurement strategy, vendor management, and supply chain optimization.
The role demands a strong blend of
technical manufacturing knowledge + commercial acumen + leadership capability to drive plant efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Plant Operations & Manufacturing Excellence
- Lead end-to-end Injection Molding, Assembly, and Pad Printing operations
- Optimize injection molding processes, machine parameters, and tooling performance
- Ensure adherence to plastics manufacturing standards and polymer processing best practices
- Drive production planning, capacity utilization, and productivity improvement
- Implement preventive maintenance (TPM) and downtime reduction strategies
- Standardize processes to reduce variation and improve quality consistency
Procurement, Supply Chain & Vendor Management
- Lead strategic sourcing, procurement planning, and vendor development
- Manage raw material procurement, plastics, polymers, and consumables sourcing
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost savings and commercial advantages
- Oversee inventory management, logistics, and supply chain optimization
- Drive value engineering, cost reduction initiatives, and backward integration
Cost Control & Business Performance
- Monitor plant P&L, budgeting, and operational cost control
- Improve manufacturing efficiency and profitability metrics
- Support leadership with techno-commercial decision-making
- Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead cross-functional teams across production, procurement, and maintenance
- Build a strong culture of accountability, discipline, and performance
- Ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and operational targets
- Develop team capability in manufacturing operations and supply chain execution
Must-Have Skills & Expertise

- Injection Molding (Mandatory)
- Assembly Line Operations

✔ Deep Technical Knowledge Of

Preferred Profile
- Experience in Automotive Components / Plastic Manufacturing Industry
- Exposure to large-scale manufacturing plants
- Candidates from reputed manufacturing companies (e.g., Minda Corporation or similar OEM suppliers preferred)
