Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Plant Accountant located in Ernakulam. The Plant Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Day-to-day tasks include processing invoices, conducting audits, analyzing cost data, and preparing reports for management review. The role also involves inventory management, variance analysis, and liaising with other departments to support financial operations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in General Ledger, Financial Reporting, and Budgeting
- Experience in Cost Accounting and Inventory Management
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
- Strong Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus
- Knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and regulatory compliance
