Plant 3D MEP Coordinator

Responsible for managing and coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) models using Autodesk Plant 3D,Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM tools. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clash-free, constructible, and efficient MEP detailing's.

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop, manage, and update BIM models for MEP systems using Autodesk Plant 3D,

Revit, and Navisworks.

● Ensure BIM execution plans (BEPs) and company standards are followed.

● Coordinate MEP models with structural, architectural, and other disciplines.

● Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues using Navisworks Manage.

● Work closely with designers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve conflicts.

● Prepare 2D P&id drawings, 3D models, and fabrication drawings based on BIM

models.

● Ensure models are accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with project standards.

● Extract BOMs (Bill of Materials), schedules, and reports from the BIM model.

● Work with international teams for multi-disciplinary BIM coordination.

● Support the adoption of BIM workflows and best practices within the team.

● Train and mentor junior BIM modelers and drafters on BIM tools and standards.

● Keep up with latest BIM technologies, industry trends, and software updates.

Educational Background:

● Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering field with 5+

Years of Experience.

Technical Skills:

● Proficiency in Autodesk Plant 3D, Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and

BIM 360.

● AutoCAD Plant 3D – Advanced knowledge of modelling, spec-driven design, and

orthographic/isometric drawings..

● P&ID Understanding – Process and instrumentation diagram interpretation for system

coordination

● Familiarity with ISO 19650,ISO 16739,IEC 62424 and BIM Level 2 standards.
