Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Submittals & Approvals (TDS)
Prepare, review, and submit Technical Data Sheets (TDS) for all materials and systems.
Coordinate with consultants/clients for timely TDS approvals.
Ensure all materials comply with project specifications, drawings, and BOQ.
2. Quantity Verification & BOQ Validation
Cross-check BOQs with design drawings and site conditions.
Perform detailed quantity take-offs and validate vendor quantities.
Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrections with design and execution teams.
3. Design Coordination
Act as the bridge between design, procurement, and site teams.
Ensure design intent is aligned with site execution feasibility.
Track drawing revisions and ensure latest drawings are issued for execution.
4. Sample Management & Approvals
Coordinate submission of material samples, mock-ups, and prototypes.
Follow up with consultants/clients for sample approvals.
Maintain a tracker for all submitted and approved samples.
5. Project Planning & Tracking
Develop and maintain project schedules and trackers.
Monitor progress vs plan and highlight delays/risks.
Coordinate with project managers to ensure milestone adherence.
6. Vendor & Procurement Coordination
Work closely with procurement team for material finalization.
Ensure technical compliance of vendor submissions.
Support vendor evaluation from a technical and planning standpoint.
7. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain records of approvals, drawings, revisions, and submittals.
Prepare weekly/monthly planning reports and dashboards.
Ensure proper documentation for audits and project handover.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of interior fit-out materials & systems.
Expertise in BOQ reading, quantity take-offs, and drawings interpretation
Excellent coordination and communication skills
High attention to detail and documentation discipline
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Educational Qualification
B.Tech / BE (Civil Engineering preferred)
Diploma in Civil / Interior Design (with strong experience) may also be considered
Experience Required
5–8 years of experience in interior fit-out / construction projects
Prior experience in planning, coordination, and technical approvals is mandatory
Software Skills
AutoCAD (mandatory)
MS Excel (advanced level)
MS Project / Primavera (preferred)
Basic knowledge of ERP systems (optional but preferred)
