Planning Engineer
Your Responsibilities:
- Make the purchase requisition with clear technical details for purchase department
- Identify and categorize make and buy items, sort the buy items in fabrication, machining, bought out etc.
- Take follow-up from the supplier and resolve issues if any
- Visit the suppliers as and when required
- Coordinate with the supplier and engineering team for technical issues
- Prepare project status reports with respect to BOM
- Prepare the packing list for dispatch and update as per the requirement of logistics / dispatch department
Your Profile:
- Graduate of mechanical engineering with min 3 years experience or Diploma in Mechanical engineering with min. 8 years of experience.
- Good understanding of various types of manufacturing processes
- Take initiative in making new processes to streamline the workflow
- Basic understanding of MS project
- Knowledge of ERP system, Project module of Tally is good to have
- Fluent in English, knowledge of German is good to have
