Planning Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review tender drawings, specifications, contract requirements and Bills of Quantities.

• Prepare tender master programmes, milestone schedules and programme narratives using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

• Develop construction sequences, phasing plans, site logistics proposals and construction method statements.

• Coordinate programme inputs with the Tender, QS, Project, Design, BIM, M&E and Procurement teams.

• Identify critical activities, authority approvals, long-lead items and programme risks.

• Prepare manpower histograms, S-curves, presentation materials and other planning deliverables when required.

• Support tender reviews, interviews, clarifications and value-engineering proposals.

• Hand over tender programme assumptions, commitments and risks to the project team upon award.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or a related discipline.

• At least two years of construction-planning experience, preferably with a Singapore main contractor.

• Experience preparing tender programmes for building or civil engineering projects.

• Proficient in Primavera P6 knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel.

• Good understanding of Singapore construction methods, sequencing, site logistics and BCA Buildability requirements.

• Able to interpret drawings and specifications and work under tight tender deadlines.

• Good analytical, coordination, communication and presentation skills.
