Role Description The Planning Engineer role is a full-time hybrid position based in Ahmedabad, with some flexibility for work from home. The Planning Engineer will develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate production planning activities, and ensure alignment between project milestones, resource allocation, and operational targets. Daily responsibilities include analyzing project data, preparing progress reports, monitoring project control metrics, and identifying risks or delays with corresponding mitigation plans. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, engineering teams, and production units to optimize workflows, support decision-making, and maintain clear communication among stakeholders. The Planning Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements and supporting compliance with company standards and quality systems.

Qualifications

Strong planning and production planning skills, with experience in creating and managing detailed project schedules.
Excellent analytical skills and project control capabilities, including monitoring performance indicators and supporting corrective actions.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present clear, concise project updates.
Proficiency with project management and planning software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools) and MS Office applications.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience in industrial construction, manufacturing, or related project environments is an advantage.
Ability to work in a hybrid setting, manage multiple priorities, and adhere to quality and safety standards
