Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Planning Engineer role based in Mundra. The Planning Engineer will develop, monitor, and update project schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones, resource availability, and client requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating with project, engineering, and production teams to gather progress data, analyzing variances, and recommending corrective actions. The role involves preparing progress reports, forecasts, and dashboards, as well as supporting project control activities such as budgeting, cost tracking, and productivity analysis. The Planning Engineer will also participate in planning meetings, support risk assessments, and help optimize production and construction sequences to improve efficiency and on-time delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong planning and production planning skills, with experience developing and maintaining detailed project schedules.
- Proven analytical skills and ability to interpret project data, identify trends, and propose practical solutions.
- Project control capabilities, including basic knowledge of budgeting, cost tracking, progress measurement, and reporting.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and presenting schedule and progress updates.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proficiency with planning and scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects is preferred, especially within oil and gas or construction environments.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work on-site in a fast-paced setting, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
