Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Planning Engineer role based in Odisha, India. The Planning Engineer will develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate planning activities, and align timelines with project milestones and resource availability. The role involves monitoring progress, identifying variances, and supporting project control through regular reporting and data analysis. The Planning Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, engineering teams, and site personnel to ensure efficient production planning and adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include updating planning tools, optimizing workflows, communicating risks and dependencies, and contributing to continuous improvement in project execution.
Qualifications
BE Civil with 3-6 years experience in epc project planning
  • Candidates should possess strong Planning and Production Planning skills to manage schedules and coordinate project execution.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Project Control capabilities to track progress, interpret data, and support decision-making.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present reports clearly.
  • Relevant engineering degree (preferably in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering) or an equivalent technical qualification.
  • Experience in infrastructure or power sector projects, ideally in planning or project control roles.
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (such as MS Project or Primavera) and standard office tools.
  • Knowledge of construction methodologies, safety standards, and contract management principles.
  • Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and meet project timelines in a dynamic environment.
