Job Description

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled PMS Associate to support the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) across our fleet. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate maintenance data, supporting vessel and office users, ensuring system synchronization, and contributing to efficient maintenance planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform routine updates and maintenance activities within the PMS software.

* Monitor scheduled maintenance tasks, overdue jobs, and maintenance completion status across the fleet.

* Update and maintain job descriptions, maintenance intervals, equipment records, and standardized maintenance data.

* Ensure consistency and accuracy of PMS data across all vessels.

* Provide PMS orientation and training to new joiners and vessel personnel.

* Support database-building activities and provide technical guidance related to PMS structure and functionality.

* Maintain machinery, equipment, and spare parts records within the PMS.

* Monitor machinery running-hour counters and maintenance tracking parameters.

* Provide first-level technical support for PMS-related issues raised by vessels and office teams.

* Coordinate PMS software updates, synchronization activities, and system enhancements.

* Assist with data validation, quality assurance, and maintenance data management.

* Support vessel teams during PMS implementation, migration, and troubleshooting activities.

* Participate in PMS audits, compliance reviews, and fleet oversight activities.

* Prepare PMS reports, maintenance performance summaries, and management information.

* Liaise with Technical, Marine Operations, Fleet Personnel, and IT teams to ensure smooth PMS operations.

* Ensure PMS records comply with company procedures, classification society requirements, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

* Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related technical discipline.

* 2–5 years of experience in PMS administration, marine maintenance, technical operations, or related functions.

* Strong understanding of Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) and maintenance management principles.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management.

Preferred

* PMS software certification or specialized training in maintenance management systems.

* Experience working with maritime PMS platforms and fleet maintenance databases.

* Technical background in marine engineering and fleet maintenance operations.
