Placement Professional

The ICFAI University, Tripura was established in 2004 through an Act of Tripura State Legislature and is approved by UGC under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. Based in Agartala, the university boasts a 32-acre campus with hostel facilities for boys and girls, accommodation for faculty and staff, and modern labs and workshops. It offers high-quality full-time education across various disciplines including science and technology, management, law, education, special education, humanities, social sciences, physical education and yoga, and paramedical sciences. Additionally, the university also offers several programs in distance mode as per UGC/DEB approval.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Placement Professional at The ICFAI University, Tripura, located in Agartala. Daily tasks include developing and maintaining relationships with potential recruiters, organizing placement drives, guiding students in resume building and interview preparation, coordinating internships, and keeping placement records updated. Additionally, the Placement Professional will conduct workshops, seminars, and industry visits to enhance student employability and overall placement success.

• Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with recruiters and industry professionals
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills for organizing placement drives and internships
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for guiding students in resume building, interview preparation, and conducting workshops
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in maintaining placement records and using relevant software tools
• Knowledge of industry trends and education sector dynamics
• Relevant degree or certification in a related field, such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or Career Counseling
• Experience in educational institutions or placement roles is a plus
