Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Training & Placement Officer with deep expertise in the EdTech or technical education sector, particularly in AI, data science, and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong track record in learner skill development, corporate tie-ups, and end-to-end placement management. You will play a pivotal role in aligning training outcomes with industry expectations and ensuring our learners secure rewarding career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:Training Responsibilities:- Collaborate with academic and technical teams to design and deliver job readiness training programs, including soft skills, communication, aptitude, and technical interview prep.
- Conduct workshops, mock interviews, group discussions, and coding assessments to enhance employability.
- Identify skill gaps and recommend curriculum improvements based on industry feedback and placement trends.
- Integrate AI-driven tools and analytics to personalize training paths for learners.
- Partner with industry experts and trainers for guest lectures, live projects, and certification programs.
Placement Responsibilities:- Build and manage a strong network of corporate partners, IT companies, startups, and HR departments across India and global markets.
- Organize on-campus and virtual placement drives, job fairs, and recruitment events.
- Coordinate with hiring managers, schedule interviews, and track placement progress.
- Maintain a placement management system to monitor offers, CTC, roles, and employer feedback.
- Mentor learners on resume building, LinkedIn profiling, interview techniques, and career planning.
- Achieve and exceed placement KPIs (e.g., 85%+ placement rate, average CTC benchmarks).
- Prepare detailed placement reports and analytics for leadership and accreditation purposes.
Requirements:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, HR, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
- 4–6 years of proven experience as a Training & Placement Officer in a technical institute, EdTech company, or corporate training academy.
- Demonstrated success in placing candidates in AI, ML, Data Science, Software Development, or IT/ITES sectors.
- Strong corporate network with tech companies and recruitment agencies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in placement tracking tools, CRM systems, MS Office, and Google Workspace.
- In-depth understanding of current hiring trends, job roles in AI/tech, and recruitment processes.
- Passion for education, technology, and youth empowerment.
Preferred Qualifications:- Prior experience in an AI/ML-focused EdTech startup or bootcamp.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, TalentLMS), AI-based career recommendation engines, or ATS systems.
- Experience managing remote/hybrid training and placement programs.
- Certification in Career Counseling or HR Development (e.g., NCCS, NCVT, or equivalent).
