Placement Manager

Role Description The Placement Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jayanagar,Bengaluru. This role is responsible for driving successful job placements for learners by building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring partners, recruiters, and employers. Day-to-day tasks include identifying suitable job opportunities, coordinating interviews, preparing learners for selection processes, and tracking placement outcomes. The Placement Manager collaborates closely with training teams to understand learner profiles and skill sets, ensuring effective matching with available roles. The role also involves organizing career events, maintaining placement reports and dashboards, and continuously improving placement strategies based on market trends and employer feedback.

Qualifications

• Ability to build and manage employer relationships, including networking with hiring managers, HR teams, and industry partners.
• 5-7+ years of experience in Placement/Ed-tech
• Experience in Healthcare /Pharma domain is a plus
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging with learners, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in placement coordination, career services, recruitment, or talent acquisition, preferably in an education or training environment.
• Skills in data tracking and reporting, including maintaining placement metrics, using spreadsheets or CRM tools, and preparing regular updates.
• Capability to coach and guide learners on résumé building, interview preparation, and professional behavior.
• Knowledge of current job market trends and hiring practices across key industries and entry-level roles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple batches and employer requirements simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a background in HR, business, or education-related fields is an advantage.
• Prior experience in Bengaluru's job market or regional employer ecosystem is beneficial.
