Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Placement Manager to oversee and manage the end-to-end placement activities of the organization. The ideal candidate will build strong industry connections, coordinate with students/candidates, and ensure successful placement outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with companies, recruiters, and industry partners for placement opportunities.
- Identify new placement leads, conduct outreach, and schedule meetings with potential employers.
- Coordinate campus recruitment drives, interviews, job fairs, and placement-related events.
- Understand employer requirements and match suitable candidates accordingly.
- Guide candidates on interview preparation, rsum building, and soft skills.
- Maintain detailed records of placement activities, employer database, and candidate progress.
- Liaise with internal academic/training teams to align candidate skill sets with industry needs.
- Track and report placement statistics, achievements, and challenges.
- Ensure smooth communication between candidates and hiring partners throughout the recruitment cycle.
- Handle queries from students/candidates and provide timely support.
- Achieve monthly and yearly placement targets.
Requirements & Skills:
- Proven experience as Placement Manager / Placement Officer / Career Counselor / HR Recruiter.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask, manage events, and work under pressure.
- Good understanding of recruitment processes and industry hiring trends.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM/placement management systems.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory; MBA in HR/Marketing or related field preferred.
