Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Placement Operations

Coordinate campus recruitment drives, interviews, and pre-placement talks

Support onboarding of recruiters and scheduling of hiring activities

Assist in internship and live project coordination

Student Mentorship & Engagement

Act as a student mentor and primary bridge between the placement team and students

Guide students on career options, role fitment, and placement readiness

Conduct group and one-on-one mentoring sessions to improve placement outcomes

Address student concerns related to recruitment processes and expectations

My role focuses on guiding students through job readiness and interview preparation while actively building and strengthening relationships with company SPOCs and key stakeholders.

Student Coordination

Act as point of contact for students regarding placement processes

Track student eligibility, participation, offers, and joining status

Support career readiness programs (aptitude, soft skills, interview prep)

Data & Documentation

Maintain placement MIS (offers, CTC, role, sector, employer)

Assist in NAAC Criterion 5 data compilation and audits

Prepare reports for internal reviews and accreditation needs

Employer Support

Assist in recruiter communication and follow-ups

Ensure smooth recruiter experience during campus visits

KPIs

Accuracy and timeliness of placement data

Number of drives coordinated successfully

Student participation rate

Employer feedback score

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred)

815 years of experience in placements, recruitment, or career services

Skills

Strong coordination and communication skills

Data handling and Excel proficiency

Student-facing interpersonal skills
