Role Description

The Head / Director of Placements will lead the institution's placement strategy by building strong corporate partnerships and driving successful student employment outcomes. The role involves engaging with HR leaders and hiring managers, securing recruitment opportunities, and aligning placement initiatives with industry hiring trends. The candidate will also oversee placement operations, track performance metrics, and represent the institution at corporate and industry networking events to strengthen employer relationships.

Placement & Corporate Relations

Develop and execute a comprehensive placement strategy to ensure strong placement outcomes.

Build and nurture relationships with corporate partners, HR leaders, and hiring managers.

Secure recruitment tie-ups with leading companies.

Industry Networking & Market Intelligence

Track industry trends, hiring patterns, and emerging job roles.

Represent the institution at career fairs, corporate events, and networking forums.

Collect employer feedback and develop employer satisfaction reports.

Placement Data & Reporting

Track placement metrics, employer feedback, and student success stories.

Prepare placement reports and presentations for leadership.

Ensure placement targets and benchmarks are consistently met.

Key Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Placements & Corporate Relations
  • Strong network with corporate leaders, HR professionals, and hiring managers
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven track record of achieving strong placement outcomes
  • Experience organizing career fairs and employer engagement programs
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

MBA / PGDM in HR, Marketing, or related field

Experience in EdTech, Higher Education, or Corporate Training
