Job Description

Role Overview

The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for supporting campus recruitment activities, building relationships with recruiters, coordinating placement drives, and ensuring smooth communication between students, faculty, and companies. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlacement Drive Coordination

●    Organize and manage campus recruitment drives, assessments, interviews, and pre-placement talks.

●    Coordinate logistics including venue arrangements, student communication, and panel support.

●    Ensure smooth execution of online and offline recruitment processes.

Student Coordination & Support

●    Maintain student placement databases and eligibility records.

●    Guide students regarding recruitment processes, placement policies, and company expectations.

●    Coordinate student registrations, interview schedules, and attendance tracking.

●    Support training initiatives related to aptitude, communication, resume building, and interview preparation.

Data Management & Reporting

●    Prepare placement reports, recruitment statistics, and hiring analytics.

●    Track placement status and maintain accurate documentation.

●    Generate periodic reports for management review and accreditation requirements.

Collaboration & Administration

●    Work closely with academic departments, faculty coordinators, and administration teams.

●    Ensure compliance with placement policies and institutional guidelines.

●    Support branding and promotional activities related to placements and industry engagement.

Required Qualifications

●    Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Human Resources, or related fields.

●    Prior experience in placement coordination, corporate relations, recruitment, training, or student engagement is preferred.

●    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

●    Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

●    Proficiency in MS Office, spreadsheets, and database management.

●    Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under deadlines.

Preferred Skills

●    Event coordination and execution.

●    Presentation and reporting skills.

●    Problem-solving and student mentoring abilities.

●    Familiarity with campus recruitment platforms.
