Teamware Solutions is seeking a skilled PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize robust database solutions. You'll be instrumental in creating and maintaining stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers, ensuring efficient data manipulation and business logic implementation within our Oracle database environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Write highly optimized SQL queries for data retrieval, insertion, updates, and deletion.
- Collaborate with application developers and database administrators to understand requirements and implement efficient database logic.
- Perform performance tuning of SQL and PL/SQL code to ensure optimal database response times and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing PL/SQL code and database issues.
- Design and implement database schemas, tables, views, and indexes as per application needs.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security within the database environment.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for database objects and PL/SQL code.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developer.
Skills Required:
- Expert-level proficiency in PL/SQL programming and Oracle SQL.
- Strong experience in developing and optimizing stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
- In-depth understanding of Oracle database architecture and concepts (e.g., tablespaces, indexing, partitioning).
- Ability to perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning using tools like EXPLAIN PLAN, SQL_TRACE, TKPROF.
- Experience with data modeling and database design.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) for database code.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills for database-centric applications.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Oracle database administration tasks.
- Knowledge of other database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
- Experience with cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS for Oracle).
