Job Title: Intern to Hire PL/SQL Developer

Duration: 6 Months Internship (Intern-to-Hire based on performance)

Stipend: 15,000 per month
Conversion: Performance-based conversion to full-time PL/SQL Developer
About The Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented PL/SQL Developer Interns who are keen to build a strong career in database development within the banking and financial domain.
You will work closely with experienced database engineers to design, develop, and optimize Oracle database-driven applications, gaining real-world exposure to enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and maintaining Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and scalability.
Support database performance tuning and query optimization activities.
Assist in debugging, testing, and validating database objects.
Maintain technical and functional documentation.
Support data integration with application and reporting layers.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and database-related discussions.
Follow best practices for secure coding, data integrity, and version control.
Required Technical Skills
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (queries, joins, procedures, functions, triggers, packages).
Strong understanding of SQL concepts, constraints, indexes, and views.
Familiarity with exception handling, cursors, and performance concepts.
Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Exposure to Git/GitHub is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to banking, financial, or ERP systems.
Knowledge of data modeling and normalization concepts.
Familiarity with reporting tools or data extraction processes.
Interest in learning database security and optimization techniques.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
Academic or project experience in Oracle SQL / PL/SQL is highly desirable.
