PL/SQL Developer with APEX Expertise

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop web-based applications using Oracle APEX
• Write and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
• Monitor and optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and database performance
• Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks in APEX applications
• Troubleshoot issues related to PL/SQL code, APEX applications, and data inconsistencies
• Provide ongoing support for deployed APEX applications and database systems
• Create and maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and system configurations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in PL/SQL development
• Strong experience in Oracle APEX (versions 19.x and above preferred)
• Proficiency in writing and debugging SQL queries, views, and materialized views
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs as used in APEX
• Experience with Oracle database architecture, including indexes, partitions, and performance tuning
• Strong analytical and debugging skills to resolve complex database and application issues
• Familiarity with Oracle tools like SQL Developer, TOAD, and Oracle Forms/Reports
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Oracle Cloud APEX or other cloud environments
• Oracle Database or APEX certification is a plus

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
