The role involves Oracle database development, performance tuning, and support activities, with some exposure to PostgreSQL.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning and optimization.
- Support and enhance existing database applications.
- Work on Oracle and PostgreSQL environments, including basic development or migration-related tasks.
- Collaborate with application and functional teams for issue resolution and enhancements.
- Provide support during releases and critical business requirements.
Qualifications
- 610 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
Required Skills
- Strong SQL knowledge and database concepts.
- Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Some PostgreSQL experience or exposure preferred.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to ERP or large enterprise systems.
- Experience with Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration projects.
- Basic Unix/Linux knowledge.
Pay range and compensation package
Budget: Up to 14 LPA
