Key Job Responsibilities

  • Designing and routing piping, tubing, and associated mechanical structures.
  • Ensuring compliance with Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets and métier rules.
  • Reviewing detailed designs, supplier subcontracts, and conducting tolerance stack-up analyses

Work Experience

Skill Required:

  • CAD Design: 3+ years full-time proficiency in CATIA V5.
  • PLM/PDM: Working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management systems like Enovia-DMA, 3DCom, or 3DX (3DExperience).
  • Drafting: Ability to generate and validate 2D/3D deliverables and manage Electronic Bills of Materials (E-BOMs)

Educational & Professional Experience

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience: 2 to 8+ years in mechanical design, specifically for locomotives or passenger cars.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of metallic materials (physical properties, welding, and bending) and welding codes
