Key Job Responsibilities
- Designing and routing piping, tubing, and associated mechanical structures.
- Ensuring compliance with Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets and métier rules.
- Reviewing detailed designs, supplier subcontracts, and conducting tolerance stack-up analyses
Work Experience
Skill Required:
- CAD Design: 3+ years full-time proficiency in CATIA V5.
- PLM/PDM: Working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management systems like Enovia-DMA, 3DCom, or 3DX (3DExperience).
- Drafting: Ability to generate and validate 2D/3D deliverables and manage Electronic Bills of Materials (E-BOMs)
Educational & Professional Experience
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 8+ years in mechanical design, specifically for locomotives or passenger cars.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of metallic materials (physical properties, welding, and bending) and welding codes
