Piping PDS Designer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Piping PDS Designer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining piping designs using PDS (Plant Design System) software, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and update 3D piping models using PDS.
• Prepare piping layout drawings, isometrics, and detailed fabrication drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts in coordination with other disciplines.
• Generate Material Take-Off (MTO) from models and ensure accuracy.
• Support design reviews and incorporate feedback into the models.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
• Proficiency in PDS (Plant Design System) software.
• Experience in piping design, layout, and modeling in industrial projects (e.g., oil & gas, petrochemical, or power plants).
• Familiarity with piping standards such as ASME, ANSI, or equivalent.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of piping design principles.
• Experience with clash detection and resolving layout conflicts.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.
