Piping material and corrosion Engineer_Hyderabad

• Selection, review of materials for Refinery / Oil and Gas facilities.
• Assessment of Service life Corrosion (SLC), Life Cycle Cost analysis (LCC) for Refinery / Oil and Gas projects.
• Design and review of Cathodic Protection (CP) systems and Corrosion Monitoring (CM) facilities for Refinery / Oil and Gas projects.
• Corrosion Management/Integrity assessment of Refinery / Oil and Gas projects
• Review of Intelligent Pigging (IP) and engineering assessment of identified pipeline defects.
• Selection and performance evaluation of corrosion inhibitors for oil and gas applications.
• Perform corrosion and materials selection studies in accordance with codes and standards used by the client and/or to agreed industry standards
• Prepare cathodic protection designs for offshore and onshore facilities, plus internal tank/vessel protection
• Assess coating requirements for a variety of exposure conditions, and prepare coating specifications and coating selection reports as required
• To co-ordinate corrosion and integrity management activities with other engineering disciplines and client representative as required to meet project requirements
• Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the BU, etc
• Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the BU, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
