Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Layout: Create piping layouts, plot plans, and 3D models (using software like Autocad / E3D
  • Engineering Analysis: Perform pipe stress analysis to ensure safety against thermal, wind, and seismic loads.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), material specifications, data sheets, and valve lists.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with process, structural, and electrical teams to resolve conflicts, such as pipe rack space.
  • Procurement & Construction: Assist with material procurement, technical bid evaluations, and site installation support.

Work Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry codes and standards, including ASME B31.3 (Process Piping), B31.1 (Power Piping)
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with 3D modeling tools (PDS, PDMS, SP3D, E3D) and stress analysis software (CAESAR II).
  • Skills: Strong analytical abilities, attention to safety (HSE), and project management skills.
