Piping Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare enquiry specifications and technical documentation for piping items.
• Review vendor quotes and proposals, ensuring alignment with technical and project requirements.
• Compile and analyze Technical Recommendations (TR) for vendor selection.
• Draft and finalize order specifications for piping items and materials.
• Review and approve vendor drawings for compliance with project standards.
• Collaborate with vendors to address queries and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure the integration of piping content for mechanical packages, including detailed reviews and approvals.
• Work closely with the project and engineering teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
• Proven experience in procurement activities related to piping systems.
• Strong understanding of piping materials, components, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with vendor management and supply chain processes.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in preparing enquiry and order specifications.
• Strong analytical skills for reviewing quotes and preparing technical recommendations.
